From Fabric to Angel Gowns

I have saved fabric from making my wedding dress for 19 years.  I finally know why after all these years.  To transform into Angel Gowns.

  1. Hi Karen,
I just discovered your cause today and wanted to share with you how beautiful I think these angel gowns are and the effort and love that goes into creating them. I haven't lost an infant, but I have experienced two miscarriages, and the grief of losing a baby stays with you forever. Your kindness speaks to me and I would love to help. My wedding dress from 4 years ago is in a bag in my closet... I would love to donate it to this cause and help out in any other way you could use assistance. Please let me know where and when I can drop off my dress and how else I can be involved.
    Blessings,
    Anna K

  2. Anna,
I work at Aspire Kids Sports Center, which is just west of the Chandler Mall in Chandler. A lot of the donated dresses have been dropped off there during regular business hours. The gym is open for Winter Camp during the next couple weeks from 8:00am - 5:00pm on the 22, 23, 29 - 31. I am not sure which part of the valley you are in, so if that is too far, we could meet somewhere closer to you.
I am looking in the future at having more hands involved as this project gets larger. I will keep you in the loop of people to contact for help.
Thank you so much for wanting to help with this project. I really appreciate it, and I know the parents who receive the Angel Gowns do as well.

  3. That sounds great! I'll drop the dress off early next week - probably Monday. Thank you, Karen!
